Hi, my name's Jonathan Michaels, freelance patent translator based in Ibaraki. Well, technically I'm the CEO of Wordstream Translations, Inc., but it feels kinda pretentious to use that title given that it's just a two-person company. We are offering an opportunity to partner you with mentors from all walks of life. This is a chance for you to seek personal advice and knowledge from an experienced individual who has successfully established themselves as a working professional in the Tokyo area. JETAA Tokyo will be holding its 2012 Steering Committee Elections Thursday, July 12th from 18:30. Anyone who is a registered member of JETAA Tokyo is encouraged to nominate someone (even yourself) who make a positive contribution to JETAA Tokyo. Our organization and network has grown over the last two years and we want to continue to grow and support the JET and local community in and around Tokyo.
The following positions are now open for nomination:

Have you ever seen the world's most famous taiko group live on stage? Now is your chance!

The taiko group Kodo will be performing in Tokyo again as part of their One Earth Tour and all JETAA Tokyo member are eligible for a 10% discount on tickets at 4,950 yen. The performance will be held at Hokutopia's Sakura Hall in Kita Ward. More details at Kodo's link below.
